You are not attractive when you keep putting yourself down,
looking for sustenance in places where it doesn’t exist.
You are not attractive when you keep putting yourself up,
saying you’re better does not ever make it so.
You will not find love when you’re filling a hole.

That abstract hole that humanity writes of, that people are constantly trying to cover up, imagining the keyhole to be a certain way and rejecting people simply because they do not seem to fit, feeling that people or drugs or books, exciting nights or simple nights with nice meals will fill this hole - so what makes him think that he can fill this hole with love? As long as he’s still caught in the illusion that he has a hole to fill he will not ‘fix it’ by stuffing it with his personalized misapprehension of love.
